General FAQs

We can offer face to face appointments or video appointments as is convenient for you. We are currently a remote-first business so. Out of courtesy we offer an in-person meeting to those who want it in our Mayfair offices. We can meet with clients who are locally based.

We work for businesses and individuals with any matter related to UK Immigration. If you wish to obtain a visa or appeal a refusal or are a business which wishes to sponsor foreign workers, then we can help you. We aim to combine clear fees, professional service, and efficient processing to ensure clients are happy to recommend us in the future!

We charged a fixed fee, based on the details of your case. Our range of fees are contained here. We are not the cheapest firm, nor the most expensive, but we feel we are a safe choice for those who want experienced and dedicated lawyers but do not want to overpay.

No, for Westkin’s legal fees we accept an initial deposit payment, usually 50% of total fee, to start the case whenever you are ready. The remainder of the fees needs to be paid before the application is submitted but after the vast majority of the application is prepared. The Home Office fees need to be paid at the time of the application, not before. For UK businesses who use us for sponsoring, we issue invoices where appropriate.

Although we are not legally permitted to present our success rate, we are very proud of the thousands of clients we have represented and helped. We are experts within immigration law, and we are able to accurately to present your success chances in writing after you have expressed your interest in our services.

Yes, we can assist both those seeking to come to the UK from abroad and those already based in the UK. For those who are based outside the United Kingdom, we are able to make the relevant applications on your behalf at the relevant centres worldwide and have a detailed working knowledge of the procedures adopted at the global application centres.

We can offer to a No Win No Fee service to clients. We assess the prospects after a short discussion and then provide a quote. Clients can then accept a lower fee without a guarantee of return of fees or choose to go with a quote with a guarantee of return of fees. It is important that you are honest with us about your situation and obtain the documents we ask for as this could invalidate a No Win No Fee agreement. It is important to note that we hold all fees at the time of application, which will be returned if the matter is refused.

We do not provide free advice unfortunately but offer an advice session which can be used to review an application you have prepared yourself or advise you on which application to make. The fee for this runs between £350 and £420.
